The Hindu Temple of Florida
In December 1983, The Hindu Temple of Florida was founded.
A group of driven people who had settled in Tampa Bay sensed the need for a place of worship and Sanatana dharma practise in their new country.
In 1989, the land at the current location was bought.
In the year 2000, the temple began to become more Indian.
In 2006, all of the deities’ Vimana gopurams and the primary Raja gopuram were finished.
The construction of the new “Prasada Sadana” temple canteen, which was finished on Shivaratri day in 2013, began in 2000.
In March 2015, at the season of Ugadi, the Temple finished the Prathishtapana of Panchamukhi Anjaneya
They also finished Sai baba in the temple.
The temple’s administration is now concentrating on devotees facility.
