How to register on Income Tax web portal ?

According to Income Tax Act 1961 every person who need to file Income Tax Return  need to registered under Income Tax website on the portal. After successfully registration you have a login ID and password for Income Tax Return filing on the web portal. Login ID is always  your PAN  and password you need to create on the web portal.

Click on https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home

Click on  register yourself

Select user type

Like

Individual

Hindu undivided family

other than individual and Hindu undivided family

Enter PAN no.

Enter Surname

Enter Middle name

Enter first Name

enter date of birth

Enter residential status ( Mean  your living  in India or outside India)

click on Continue

create a password

Enter secret question

Enter Email ID

Enter Mobile no

Enter residential  address

after successfully submit ion you will receive OTP on

One OTP on Email ID

Second OTP on Mobile No.

after both enter and successfully  submit ion

your registration process will complete.
