What is GATE- Know How to Apply Eligibility, benefits of GATE Exam/ Scores?
What is GATE? GATE is a higher education in IIT field. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur shall organize GATE 2022. Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and the seven other Indian Institutes of Technology jointly conduct GATE for PG course admission in engineering.
The GATE Exam is conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India and Nation Coordination Board for Higher Education. Some college and Institutes offer admission without MHRD scholarship/assistantship for them GATE Exam qualification is mandatory.
GATE Exam is held online mode at various centers in India and outside India.
GATE is a national level engineering postgraduate entrance exam.
Who can apply for GATE?
An eligible candidate can appear in the GATE Exam. The eligible criteria will be given in the application form but some basic are given below
Age Limit_ No age Limit
Pass Percentage. No minimum pass percentage in the qualifying degree
Nationality– Candidates must be citizens of India
Academic Qualification– The candidates should have passed or be in their final year of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or postgraduate ( M.Sc).
