KVS Admission 2021- 22 : Admission occurs in Kendriya Vidyalaya in class 2 and above, know every detail !

In the Kendriya Vidyalaya (Kendriya Vidyalaya), the process of registration for classes 2 and above is going to start from April 8 i.e. tomorrow. The last date to register for these classes is 15 April 2021. Keep in mind that only offline forms will be filled for admission in classes 2 and above.Students and parents have to go to school and fill in the application form. Age will be calculated by March 31, 2021 for admission in all classes. Let us know how admission is done in class 2 and above in Kendriya Vidyalaya.

How to get admission in classes 2 to 8 :-

The seats in the Kendriya Vidyalaya are filled according to the priority. The number of seats is reserved according to several categories. Admission of 40 children takes place in a section. Out of this, admission is given to 27 percent or 11 seats for OBC, 15 percent or 6 seats for SC, 7.5 percent or 3 seats for ST and 25 percent or 10 seats for poor and deprived children. Apart from this, the lottery system is used when more applications are received.

This is how admission is done in classes 9 and 11:-

The entrance test is conducted for admission in class 9 in Kendriya Vidyalaya. Currently, admissions will be done till 9th. Only after the result of the 10th result, the process of admission will be started in the 11th. There is an entrance test of 100 marks for admission in 9th, in which questions from Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science and Science subjects are asked. Students are selected through a merit list to be made according to the category. At the same time, admission in the 11th is passed to students in the 10th, based on their marks.

These categories get priority:-

Priority is given to 3 categories of children in a central school, which is as follows-

CAT-1: Under the Central Government, children of working employees, children of ex-servicemen, children of foreign national officers who have come to India, or have been invited by the Indian government.

CAT-2: Students who are children of support bodies and employees of public sector undertakings or higher education institutions of the Government of India.

CAT-3: Children of state government employees. Children of foreign nationals living in India, who are staying in India for personal or government work.

Offline Registration – 08 April to 15 April 2021

Admission list release date – 19 April 2021 (4 pm)

Admission date – April 20 to April 27, 2021

Last date of admission in all classes (except class 11) – 30 May 2021
