Ans.7– The tropical rainforest has a large population of animals because of continuous warmth and rain, the tropical region supports an enormous number and a wide variety of animals and creatures.

 

Q.8:- Explain, with examples, why we find animals of certain kind living in particular climatic conditions.

Ans.8:- In the tropical rainforest days and night are almost same about in length. These regions has plenty of rainfall. The temperature of these region are between 15C to 40C in a years. Because of continue Rain and warmth, this region support much variety of creature, animals and plants. And the climate conditions in rainforest are suitable to support much verity of animal and plants. That’s why much number of plants and animals living in rainforest.

Ans.9– The following reasons are:-

  • It has modified teeth tear the bark of trees which are food for elephants.
  • The trunk is also used to pick food.
  • Large ears of the elephant help it to hear even very soft sounds.
  • It also uses the trunk as nose to have strong sense of smell.
